Handheld retroreflectometers are today the only instruments being accurate enough and accepted for contractual valid measurements of road markings.

DELTA’s LTL2000, LTL–X and LTL–XL instruments are the standard used by the market but handheld instruments have limitations.

Handheld instruments provide sample measurements which are not representative for retroreflection measurements of the full length and width of road markings. Handheld instruments may need costly road closure.

Specifications:
LTL–M has been tested by VTI (Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute) in October 2009. The results confirmed the high measurement accuracy performed by LTL–M.
