Taisei International - Vibration Logger
 Back to Concrete NDT

Vibration LoggerThe AXILOG is a rugged, lightweight vibration logging system that is able to measures the velocity of an object, simultaneously in the X, Y and Z directions. The Axilog is designed for vibration measurements on buildings and other structures in order to quantify the load and determine the risk of damage. The signal processing of the Axilog complies with the Dutch SBR standard, DIN 4150 and BS 5228. The AXILOG is delivered complete with a calibration certificate from TNO (an independent Dutch research institute for applied scientific research).

The AXILOG has 6 large displays that show the real–time velocities and dominant frequencies. The display also has a max hold-function so that the user can view peak readings on site. The Axilog logs X, Y and Z velocities and frequencies with a selectable time interval. Also, to ensure that the memory is filled only with relevant measurements, a minimum threshold can be set. Only measured values logged above the threshold are stored. In addition, a start and stop time can be set to carry out logging during working hours and save memory space.

The AXILOG has an optional alarm output that is activated if a preset level is exceeded. The alarm can be set according to the limits described in the standards (SBR, DIN and BS) and can operate a strobe type warning light if required on site.

During operation, the battery status and percentage of memory used is shown on displays. Keys used to change settings can also be blocked if required, so that it is impossible to inadvertently change settings in the field.

The AXILOG software enables programming and downloading of data from Axilog unit either directly or remotely. The database type structure can also control and restrict access to the Axilog and data.
